Annual Dry Dock
As of 2023 the Annual Dry Dock period on Lummi Island will be in May Instead of September.
This is the period when the car ferry goes into the shipyard for maintenance, and we have to make do with a passenger only ferry. It takes a little more planning on our part, but it is actually a fun time to be on Lummi Island. There is a county van that makes regular stops very near to Nettles Farm. Check out Whatcom Chief for ferry and van schedules.
Nettles Farm has 3 parking spaces available on Gooseberry Point, near the ferry terminal. I’ll text the address before your stay. Each spot has a sign with my name on it.
